ESCAPE THE ROCK EXPANDS FIELD FOR 2011
The Escape the Rock Tournament, which will be in it’s 5th season as an individual event, will expand the field to 32 teams for 2011 and take place on January 14 & 15, 2011 at Council Rock South High School in Holland, PA. Some top teams and individuals from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Virginia will be looking to take top honors. The newcomers are highlighted this year by historically successful Clearfield, PA, seven time defending NJ state dual champion Camden Catholic, three time VA state champion Colonial Forge, along with an up and coming Kiski Prep team that took 4th at the National Prep Tournament. Also making their first appearance at Escape the Rock will be PA teams Norristown, Western Wayne, Carlisle, Elizabethtown, Bradford, Father Judge and Malvern Prep; and Bishop Eustace, NJ. With a very diverse and competitive field, the tournament should provide for a very exciting two days of wrestling!
