Ron Frazier Founder and Editor of Crossface Wrestling http://crossfacewrestling.net
We are committed to improving on the site and promoting our fine sport and it's athletes.
Crossface Wrestling has existed for over 14 years and has grown into an informative site which started by focusing on Northwestern Pennsylvania Wrestling with the help of many. Crossface Wrestling started as simply a collection of favorite wrestling sites into a network of informative sites maintained with the help of other wrestling fanatics. We have expanded into offering National, State, Regional and other wrestling news.
We will continue to do keep all wrestling news current and updated daily on a National, State, and NW Regional level. "Focus on the Wrestler" interviews which may be inspirational to the next generation of wrestlers, and give the wrestling fans current news on high school and college wrestling at a national , state and regional level.
Periodically, we might drop a line or two on MMA (mixed martial arts) on fighters with a wrestling background.
I would also like to thank our sponsors who help us in promoting this great sport. And as always, I would like to thank all that help in contributing news, information and insight.
Derek Caldwell has recently joined the Crossface staff and will head up many aspects of the site and potentially a large portion of the entire operation.
We Welcome Newest Crossface Wrestling Staff member
Derek Caldwell
Here are a few words from Derek as we are pleased to welcome him and with his insight take Crossface Wrestling to a new level.
"As a graduate of Curwensville Area High School and Lock Haven University I have grown to know and love the sport of wrestling. It has given me many characteristics that help me to strive to be the best I can be. Dedication to excellence, a drive to achieve more, and a commitment to finish what I started are all things that I have learned in my 16 years of wrestling. Without these attributes in my everyday life I'm sure I wouldn't be the person I am today. Without wrestling I wouldn't be the person I am today.
During my time at Lock Haven I was able to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Media. I was also presented with many opportunities while in college. I was elected president of the campus Sports Broadcasting Club. In those two years I was able to get the club to fully funded status and produce a group that is noticed throughout the campus and fellow Lock Haven alumni.
My passion for the sport of wrestling is what drew me to Crossface Wrestling. I have known Ron since I was about nine years old and know he has a good thing going with Crossface. I'm hoping to get involved in as many aspects of Crossface Wrestling as possible, from ad and t-shirt sales, to tournament coverage and article write ups, I want to help make Crossface Wrestling even more successful than it already is.
Ron and myself are hoping to bring in some sort of video feed of tournaments, dual meets and weekly wrestling newscast starting in Central Pa. and branching out to lengths unknown. With my broadcasting knowledge and Ron's savvy technical abilities we want to create a product unlike any other for the scholastic and international wrestling community".

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the comment on my team last season. Your website is excellent it is a valuable guide for any coach, wrestler or wrestling fan. It promotes the sport of wrestling in Central Pennsylvania and gives young athletes exposure across the state and country, that they would only normally get in the local newspaper. Keep up the good work on your site and hopefully Altoona can continue to build our wrestling program.
Thanks,
Coach Joel Gilbert
I love the Web Site it is a great thing even living in Pittsburgh people
are talking about it. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Thanks Aaron Cantafio

Appreciate all your time and energies for you have a great site for all wrestlers and parents alike in the NW Region and State for that matter! Jim Dalgarn
Hey Ron,
First, let me say that I have wanted to run into you for a while now. I just wanted to tell you that you really do a great job with your website and you really do get these kids a lot of exposure. I appreciate everything you do and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I have always tried to refrain from the forums and look for websites that have links and useful information for Dirk’s benefit. I always like to know how kids are doing and who Dirk might be up against. Researching this stuff has been much easier due to the fact that you have links on your site that have helped me get the information I was looking for. You have always had nothing but good to say about Dirk and I also appreciate that. As you know, when you start competing at the level that he has competed at, you don’t always find positive people who like to compliment your son very much. He is fortunate to have a supporter like you. You do a great job!!!! Keep up the good work!!!! By the way, Dirk would love to do the interview. Let me know what information you need or if you want him to contact you.
Thanks again Ron,
Dan Cowburn
Hi Ron,
Thanks for doing such a great job with this website. I'm amazed at how quickly you get your statistics up. I really enjoy your website. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Ron,
Jon-Marc is at church I will show him your email when he gets to the office, but I wanted to personally Thank You for your coverage and website updates, 20 years ago the good wrestlers had to tell someone how they did, which probably sounded like bragging, now you do it for them and it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Again Ron, like I said before Thanks to you many boys stick it out and keep driving, and many parents should also be aware that I believe that you are solely responsible for many scholarships for D9 wrestlers, without your website and your promotion of their accomplishents , many of the kids may not have been seen or recognized by colleges in other parts of the state or country !
Hope to see ya soon....Perry
